Yes! Every toy in the box is completely free. Dog owners are welcome to take a toy for their dog to keep and enjoy. No catch, no registration, no strings attached. Toys are free whether you scan the QR code or not.
Do I need to return the toy?
No. Toys are yours to keep and enjoy. This is not a library — your dog can keep and enjoy whatever they take from the box. There is no expectation to return anything.
Is Dog Toy Bank a charity?
No. Dog Toy Bank is a small local project run by dog lovers. It is not a registered charity, not a business, and not an official public service. Voluntary support from the community helps keep the boxes stocked and maintained, but there is no obligation to contribute.
Can I leave a toy?
Yes! If you have a clean, safe dog toy that another dog could enjoy, you are very welcome to leave it in the box. Please make sure it is clean, in good condition, and suitable for dogs. Please do not leave damaged, broken or unsuitable items.
Can my business host a box?
Yes. Dog-friendly businesses and venues such as pet shops, dog cafés, groomers, campsites and dog fields are welcome to get in touch if they would like to host a Dog Toy Bank box. Use the contact form below and select Host a box as your reason for contacting us.
What happens if a box is empty or damaged?
If you spot a box that is empty, damaged or needs attention, please use the contact form on this page to let us know. Select Report an issue as your reason for contacting us and include as much detail as you can. We will do our best to restock or repair it as soon as possible. Thank you for helping!
